They cannot act or use abilities without Anima. Anima capacity depends on the golem; the bigger ones can hold more.

On Heroic, this also deals moderate Fire damage for the duration.
At 100 anima, Dark Animus unleashes Full Power, dealing lethal damage to the raid.
