Strategy Guide

Heroic Changes
  • In the second Phase 1, Captive Cave Bats join the fight and must be picked up. In the third, a Starved Yeti spawns and charges around the room.

  • Thok will also heal when devouring a prisoner.

FIGHT OVERVIEW
  • The fight alternates between two phases.

  • Phase 1 starts on pull and ends when enough players with Bloodied are within 10 yards, which triggers Phase 2.

  • In Phase 2, the boss fixates on players until a prisoner is freed. He devours the prisoner, powers up his abilities, then returns to Phase 1.

  • Stay in Phase 1 as long as possible on pull. Use Bloodlust and chain raid cooldowns as his stacks ramp.

  • The recommended prisoner order is: Akolik > Gorai > Montak

Prisoners of War

After obtaining the key, the raid can choose to free one of the prisoners.

When a prisoner is freed, they will be devoured by Thok, augmenting his Fearsome Roar and Shock Blast.
