Around 95%, 66%, and 33% remaining life, Feng siphons the essence out of a pre-selected statue of Mogu Champions' past, gaining their boon.
In Normal, this order will always be Fist -> Spear -> Staff.
Each Spirit absorbed gives a different set of abilities.
Tanks can use Nullification Barrier or Shroud of Reversal to negate or replicate boss abilities.
In Heroic, the order of statues is no longer pre-selected. Feng instead siphons from the statue nearest to him at around 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%.
Spirit of the Shield is a new Heroic only phase.
Lightning Fists shoots three shockwaves instead of one.
Every Spirit absorbed by Feng gives him a 10% damage buff.

Feng targets 8 random targets (3 in 10 man), dealing mild Shadow damage.
Every time Feng absorbs a Mogu Champion Spirit, his damage dealt is increased by 10%.

Feng causes an earthquake, pulsing AoE damage around him. The closer you are to the boss, the less damage you take.
Players will gain a 75% hit debuff for the duration.
TANK
FACE AWAY
Feng will cast a frontal on the tank that stuns.
On Heroic, there is initial damage, and the shockwave splits into three waves.
Feng imbues himself with the Spirit of the Spear, replacing his abilities with Wildfire Spark, Draw Flame, and Flaming Spear.
EVERYONE
DON'T STAND IN FIRE
Feng will pull any patches of fire into him, causing any that reach to give his attacks an additional Fire AoE.
IF DEBUFFED
RUN OUT
A random player gains a debuff. When this debuff ends, a patch of fire will be dropped on the floor.
Try to place this in a direction that, when pulled back into the boss, won't hit any other raid member.
Feng imbues himself with the Spirit of the Staff, replacing his abilities with Arcane Velocity, Arcane Resonance, and Arcane Shock.
EVERYONE
STACK UP
Feng channels an Arcane storm, pulsing AoE Arcane damage around him. The closer you are to the boss, the less damage you take.
RANGED
SPREAD OUT
Random players start to pulse Arcane damage around them, damaging anyone within 6 yards. This damage increases for every nearby player.
When this ability is ready, make sure ranged are spread around the boss with 6 yards between them.
This is a Heroic only phase. Feng imbues himself with the Spirit of the Shield, gaining Siphoning Shield, Shadowburn, and Chains of Shadow.
EVERYONE
CC AND NUKE ADDS
The souls of 10 random players are used to spawn adds. These must be killed before reaching the shield and can be controlled by CC.
Feng targets 8 random targets (3 in 10 man), dealing mild Shadow damage.
